Where should I start? Numerous
things have gone wrong with this car, and the other 1995 Taurus GL I
recently have owned. First the GL. The rear suspension is screwed in this
car which wears the tires to a point where they can't be balanced. The day
time running light module got screwed on day when I was on vacation and
the lights couldn't be turned off. (It had the crappy 3.8 L engine) and it
blew the head gasket twice under the recall. Now my 1995 Taurus SE. The
finish came off the aluminum wheels. The plastic radiator cracked not once
but twice in a two year span. The day time running light module got
screwed up in this car to when it was of course minus 40 outside and I had
to take half the car apart to remove the module so the lights would go
off. It has several oil leaks. It has started to leak anti freeze again.
It should have way more power then what it has and how much fuel it
drinks. Every plastic clip and panel on the dash and door rattles. The
trunk leaks snow into it in winter. And many other things but I forget
there are so many!
